It’s weird, it’s cute, it’s clever and simply ingenious and it’s called the Eggling! Crack it like a hard boiled egg and you’ll be amazed what will grow out of it. A plant !
The Eggling is made of white porous ceramic (2.125" height x 1.875" diameter) and comes with a terra cotta tray and seed pack of either herbs or flowers.
We currently have available the Herb Italian Parsley and Herb Pepper Mint and Chrysanthaneum Flower.
It is easy to cultivate so for those who have absolutely no clue about gardening don’t worry – just prick, add water and watch it grow.
Egglings grow for up to five months in a special fortified peat mixture, after which the Eggling can be planted directly in soil. OK, you may need a bit of gardening skills here.

The eggling contains enough nutrients for plants to grow in it for up to 5 months. When the plant outgrows the eggling, transplant directly into the soil of a larger pot so the plant can fully mature. After transplanting, shatter the eggling into small pieces, adding it to the surrounding soil as fertilizer.

I bought this for a house warming- didn't have much money to spend, so this was ideal. My friend loves it.. she puts it on her windowsill and watches her parsley grow!
