The home of gorgeous gifts for all occasions, MyRedPacket was born out of a conversation between 2 sisters, My Linh and My Hanh. Being part of a large family of 10 (and that's NOT including extended family), buying presents was always a bit of a chore. We would roam the high street not knowing what to buy and that would take up the full day. Yes, shopping online was a possible solution but with millions of shopping sites out there, with thousands of products to sift through, how do we select the good from the bad without having to surf the net for hours on end?

Our own experiences led us to put together MyRedPacket, where we believe that giving to others should be as good as you get from others.  Hence we strive to make your gift searching as easy and enjoyable as possible- so that you FIND the perfect gift as quickly as possible and RECEIVE it with the highest level of customer service. Therefore many months of hard work and dedication was put into sourcing the right products and building a site to achieve this.

Our vision was clear right from the start:

a) not to bombard the shop with thousands of products just for the sake of it so that we could boast about quantity- but carefully selecting and stocking gifts of high quality and good value. We strive to offer you a good tailored range of products, to suit all budgets, occasions and needs. To achieve this we have rigorous sourcing requirements to ensure all our products that we sell, now and in the future, we would be proud to own or buy ourselves.

b) to build a well designed, user-friendly site with easy navigation and search tools which will lead you to the right product. Bear with us, we are constantly looking at ways to improve this.

We know this because the level of service that you receive is down to us, and this is our promise to you. Simple as that! Our views on Customer Service is a simple one- treat our customers the same way as we would want to be treated as a customer. Any issues or problems you have, we will respond quickly and take action. You might be wondering why we haven't mentioned secure online shopping? Well, for us, this is a given. For you, this is absolutely what you should expect. If we don't have a secure payment system, we don't trade. End of.

On one last note, we would welcome any feedback you have, good or bad. If we know what we are doing wrong, we will find ways to improve. If we know what we're doing well, we'll make sure we do more of it!

• We aim to dispatch goods within 24 hours, Mon- Fri (of course unless it's a personalised gift). If something is really urgent, we have been known to work at the weekends as well!
• If you have a query, a problem or just need help, we respond very quickly! Seriously we do...whenever we reply to an email query, we get so many replies saying 'thank you for such a quick response!'. So you will always be assured that your query is being taken care off. Of course we make mistakes, we are human afterall, but if we do, we try our damn hardest to rectify it.
• Having 100% secure shopping is a given for us, so there's no need to go any further apart from saying...shopping with us is 100% secure.

We know you've probably heard this all before and have probably been let down by some companies who also say the same thing. Well, i don't blame you for thinking this way. Let me leave you by quickly explaining....why My Red Packet? Well, did you know that a Red Packet (or Laisee), is a Chinese tradition where small gifts are presented in a traditional Red Packet. Usually money or jewellery are given in a red envelope, at special occasions, such as birthday, Chinese New Year and Wedding. The Chinese Red Packet with it's gold writing, symbolises good fortune, health and happiness. With each order, you'll get a traditional Red Packet- put a coin in it and keep it in your wallet or use it as a bookmark.
